Inspiration day starts festival
Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce has confirmed three headline speakers to inspire businesses as part of its three-day Staffordshire Business Festival.
An inspiration day on Tuesday, November 7 will welcome guests to the home of manufacturing heavyweight JCB where they will hear from Olympic gold medallist Joe Clarke; president of Living at Wedgwood, Ulrik Garde Due and actress and playwright Debbie McAndrew.
Debbie McAndrew said: “I'm delighted to be speaking at the Staffordshire Business Festival. Business people are great innovators, and it's important to have a continuous flow of dialogue between the creative and business sectors. We have lots to share and learn from each other.”
Sara Williams, chambers chief executive, said: “Our inaugural 2016 festival was a truly exciting time for the team and we are delighted to be hosting our second festival this year.
“The festival gives the opportunity to bring together what is a fantastically diverse business base across Staffordshire. Based at JCB's headquarters, this is a fantastic opportunity for businesses to unite with Staffordshire's key players.”
Another exciting addition to the mix will see Signal 1’s, Dave Johnson as the host of this inspiration day. Dave will lead the event from start to finish, creating a warm atmosphere through his familiar local presence."
The three-day festival runs from November 7 to 9.
