Low carbon opportunities
The Midlands Environmental Business Company is inviting businesses to find out about new market opportunities in the low carbon economy
It follows the recent publication of a report from global asset management leader Schroders which stressed the importance of investment in climate change adaptation and mitigation measures to manage business risk.
MEBC is holding a seminar at The Bond Company, 180-182 Fazeley Street, Birmingham on September 28 from 5pm to 7pm.
There will be information on the size of the market opportunity for UK businesses in 2030 and 2050 and opportunities in energy production, energy efficiency, low carbon vehicles, water management and conservation, building and infrastructure adaptation and new construction techniques.
Paul Maryan, of AEA Ricardo and author of the report, will be attending.
