Free seminar will look at water market
Small and medium sized businesses in the West Midlands are being invited to help shape the biggest competitive water retail market in the world.
Ofwat is holding a free seminar on Monday, July 24 from 10am to 1pm at The Studio Birmingham, Imagine Room, 7 Cannon Street, Birmingham.
Since the start of April businesses in England can shop around and choose where they buy their water and waste water retail services and no longer have to rely on the local monopoly water company.
In order to gauge how the new market is working for businesses, the water regulator, has invited business people to attend free seminars.
Ofwat will be convening a panel of small and medium-sized businesses to help inform and challenge its oversight of the market as well as discuss any emerging issues or trends businesses are experiencing.
