Major Wolverhampton store set to reopen with grand celebration and free goody bags

People looking to enjoy the great outdoors as the weather turns warmer are being invited to celebrate the reopening of a popular Wolverhampton store.

A newly refurbished GO Outdoors store has opened on Eagle Street in Wolverhampton, with a grand opening event to celebrate taking place on Saturday, March 21.

The store officially opens at 9am, with store manager Marc Brown on hand to welcome the first 150 groups with a complimentary goody bag worth £40. 

Inside one of these bags will be a £500 voucher to spend in-store, and another will contain a £200 voucher, with two more containing £100 vouchers for customers lucky enough to find one.

Customers can also get 15 per off across most departments in-store until March 26, to celebrate the store’s refresh. 

On the day, queueing customers can help themselves to a free hot drink from the on-site coffee van, while inside the store, a balloon modeller, DJ, and face painter will be on hand to entertain and local influencer, @StuffToDoWestMids will also be in attendance to document the event.

Leisure Lakes will be running a competition to win 4 Malverns Classic Family Festival Tickets (worth £400),challenges to win training goodies and vouchers, as well as offering free bike safety checks.

The newly refreshed store has free customer parking and will stock a wide range of unbeatable brands, such as Rab, OEX, and Berghaus, as well as trusted brands like Peter Storm, Hi-Gear, and Osprey. 

It also has new external and internal fixtures, now featuring a brand new Leisure Lakes cycling department, and a refreshed Fishing Republic angling concession. 

The 27,000+ sq ft store provides a range of services, including boot and rucksack fittings, bike servicing and collection and drop-off points for online orders through Evri and UPS.
