'We are excited to build something meaningful' - restaurant owner says as new family-run pizza parlour opens in Stourbridge
A new family-run pizza parlour has been officially opened in Stourbridge High Street.
Stourbridge councillor Andrew Tromans 'cut the ribbon' at the new business called the House of Crust UK, which has opened in a long empty shop unit.
The new takeaway restaurant, located at 99 High Street, serves up pizza, kebabs and burgers - with the aim of offering quality food at affordable prices including lunch time deals to appeal to the town's student population.
Cllr Tromans, who represents Wollaston and Stourbridge Town on Dudley Council, welcomed the new venture and said: “I was honoured to be invited to open up House of Crust UK by the Badar family. This was my first time cutting a ribbon.

“The Badar family are hardworking Black country entrepreneurs who have built successful businesses in Old Hill and Cradley. I wish them every success in this new venture.”
Owner Farheem Badar said “Our mission is rooted in serving the community. We believe that residents deserve a place where they can enjoy excellent food—whether dining in or ordering from home—without paying inflated prices. Every dish we create reflects our commitment to purity, consistency, and care, and we take pride in ensuring our service matches the high standards we set in our kitchen.
“The launch of House of Crust UK marks only the beginning of our journey. We plan to expand in the coming years, developing the brand into a sustainable franchise that continues to prioritise value, local engagement, and exceptional quality. We are excited to build something meaningful for Stourbridge and beyond.”
