'45 years with one company is more than a career: it’s a legacy,' says business boss as he praises Black Country worker's long service

Staff at Steelway Brickhouse in Wolverhampton have congratulated a long-serving employee on clocking up 45 years of loyal service with the company.

Lee joined Steelway in 1980 and over the decades he has become an integral part of the business, contributing his expertise and commitment through a raft of changes and developments at the company.

He initially joined the company in production control and after a few months his strong technical knowledge and natural relationship with customers, led him to move into sales, where he has continued to excel. 

Now office sales manager, he leads a small but strong team.

Lee, who marked the milestone on November 13, said: “Looking back, it’s hard to believe it’s been 45 years. 

“I’ve seen the company evolve in so many ways, but the sense of family and commitment here has always stayed the same.
