Booming property auction business hits major milestone - £1 billion worth of properties sold
The auction team at Bond Wolfe is celebrating hitting £1 billion worth of sales after the property business's October auction.
Since the launch of Bond Wolfe Auctions in January 2019, the team has held 48 auctions - with a record result in July this year of £33,633,123 achieved in sales.

Gurpreet Bassi, chief executive of Bond Wolfe, said: “We have acted and continue to act for several public bodies including Birmingham City Council, Walsall Council, West Midlands Police, and many others.
“We have won every single tender we have bid for, but we are always looking for more.”
Bond Wolfe also acts for several major housing associations.
Over their seven auctions a year, the auctions team has now built up a database of more than 150,000 people, with bidders from all over the world logging on to compete for prime properties.
Mr Bassi added: “Our success is down to two factors. The loyalty of our regular clients and our team that has now grown to 30-plus. We always aim to promote from within the business, so there is a real career path to follow at Bond Wolfe.”
Bond Wolfe adapted and remodelled their operations when Covid struck, moving seamlessly from in-room auctions held at Villa Park, to online streamed auctions which attract tens of thousands of viewers.
Mr Bassi said: “We have always kept technology at the forefront of our business, and we employ our own in-house media team led by marketing director Craig Upton.
“This has enabled us to thrive despite prolonged Brexit negotiations, elections, interest rate changes and market turmoil caused by a challenging political backdrop in recent years.”
During the past seven years, Bond Wolfe has also donated tens of thousands of pounds to charities including Birmingham Children’s Hospital, University Hospitals Birmingham Charity and the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Mr Bassi said: “We are always keen to give back because this business has exceeded all our expectations, and I would like to thank all our staff past and present, our clients and suppliers for their support and together we can look forward to continued success.”
Bond Wolfe will hold its final live-streamed auction of 2025 on Wednesday December 10, with remote bidding by proxy, telephone or internet.
