Biggest indoor Christmas shopping fair in the West Midlands set to return - here's when and what's in store
It might seem like summer has only just started to wave farewell but the retail sector already has its sights on the festive season.
The biggest indoor Christmas shopping fair in the West Midlands, the Festive Gift Fair, is set to return in just a few weeks time - with tickets available from today (Monday September 1).
The four-day event, which promises to get festive preparations off to a flying start, is set to take place at the NEC, Birmingham, from Thursday November 13 to Sunday November 16.
Now in its 29th year, the fair is the go-to event in the UK for Christmas shopping - featuring a colourful, eclectic mix of unusual stocking fillers, gift and craft ideas for all ages and tastes, festive food and drink to try before you buy, Christmas decorations for home and garden, musical entertainment plus lots of special show offers!
This year’s event, which will run from 9.30am to 5pm daily, will feature 325 stalls in one hall at the NEC - with 130 new stalls plus old favourites.
Father Christmas and his sleigh will also be there, along with The Grinch and other Christmas characters, to mark the start of the Christmas season.
Adult tickets start from £8 (plus £1.50 per transaction not per ticket) and can be bought online from www.festivegiftfair.co.uk. There’s also a ‘buy three and get one free’ offer.
