Luxury hotel unveils new events venue, fitness club and accommodation after £85m expansion project
The award-winning Belfry Hotel & Resort has unveiled its brand new events venue, state-of-the-art fitness and leisure club and stylish new accommodation after a two-year £85 million expansion project.
The independent hotel in Sutton Coldfield, renowned for its world-class facilities, has opened the doors today to The Masters Suite, The Club and new Brabazon House accommodation wing which aim to amplify the destination resort’s world-class leisure and events offering.

Almost doubling The Belfry in size, the new Brabazon House wing features 149 bedrooms, including the resort’s first-ever two-bedroom suite, and balcony rooms with views over The Belfry’s legendary Brabazon golf course.

The Masters Suite, an 852sqm space with a capacity of 920, is the resort’s largest events space and it has already secured £10 million in confirmed business bookings ahead of its hotly-anticipated opening - as well as attracting enquiries worth more than £80 million.

With floor-to-ceiling views, The Masters Suite has been designed for banquets and conferences to mini expos and weddings - attracting high-profile clients including DP World Tour and Teams Europe. It has received strong support from industry associations such as the Meetings Industry Association, BEAM and 59club, all of whom are set to host their flagship events there.
The Club is the home for all things fitness. Offering the latest facilities, it includes a vast Technogym with views over the resort’s PGA National golf course, four spacious studios including dedicated yoga, reformer Pilates and spin studios and an extensive multi-purpose sports hall.
There’s also a 25-metre lap pool, sauna, indoor and outdoor bubble pools, a steam room, and feature showers plus a large family-friendly swimming pool with flume, a children’s boulder wall, and a café with a picturesque outdoor terrace.
