Lichfield skincare salon owner says she's 'absolutely honoured' after top hair and beauty award win
A Lichfield beauty salon owner has told of her joy at winning a top accolade in The British Hair and Beauty Awards.
Samantha Young, owner and practitioner of Skin Re-Treat, has been named Midlands Skin Specialist of the Year 2025 in the online awards in recognition of her outstanding contribution to industry education, skincare and client wellbeing.

Established in 2015, The British Hair and Beauty Awards celebrate excellence in the UK's hair, beauty and aesthetics industry, with judges praising Sam’s expertise, dedication and innovative treatments offered at her clinic.
Sam, who has been running her salon for four and a half years, said: “I’m absolutely honoured to receive this award. Supporting clients to feel confident in their skin is my passion, and I’m proud to be bringing this recognition to Skin Re-Treat in Lichfield.”
Sam has more than 20 years of experience in the skincare and wellness industry, having started her career at prestigious venues such as Hoar Cross Hall and The Belfry before becoming an ambassador for Elemis.
Over the years, she has expanded her expertise through roles in business development, area management and as a clinical trainer.
Alongside running Skin Re-Treat which is based within Pure Beauty in Upper St John Street, Sam also works with a leading aesthetics device distributor, providing business support and clinical training. The role allows her to continue sharing her knowledge, support industry growth and pursue her passion for lifelong learning.
