Prime site near Merry Hill shopping centre and The Waterfront sold for £400,000
A prime site next to Merry Hill shopping centre and Waterfront Business Park has been sold to an unnamed buyer.
The 3.75-acre site, in a prominent and highly visible roadside position fronting the A4036 Pedmore Road, Brierley Hill, has been sold by commercial property agents Bond Wolfe for £400,000.
James Mattin, managing director and auctioneer at Bond Wolfe, said the site was currently unsurfaced but was suitable for a variety of uses, subject to planning permission.
He said the buyer intends to utilise the site for open storage initially - adding: “We are delighted to conclude this land sale after a number of buyers came forward.
"Its strategic position generated interest from a wide array of potential users and is further evidence that well located sites are still attracting multiple buyers.”
West Bromwich law firm Clark Brookes Turner Cary acted for the seller, while the buyer was advised by Talbots Law in Brierley Hill.
