Documentary-maker aims to preserve priceless memories with Family Legacy Films business
An award-winning former TV documentary-maker has launched a new business that aims to help people preserve priceless family memories, histories and stories for future generations.
Susan Jones, a former ITV Central documentary-maker turned corporate video producer, has launched Family Legacy Films to offer bespoke videos to capture and preserve the precious stories of loved ones.

Film-maker Susan, who is based in Belbroughton, Worcestershire, uses her 30 years of programme-making experience and passion for stories to create family films that people will treasure.
Having personally experienced the loss of both parents, she champions a variety of methods for recording family memories - including memory books, photo albums and crucially - videos.
She said: "Our older generations are a treasure trove of information. Knowing where we come from, our family history, family tree, how elderly relatives lived and worked, their funny stories and family values is so precious.
"When we lose important people in our lives, written and visual records can bring back memories of them, helping us remember everything that made them special and unique. They keep our loved one alive in our minds and valuable records for future generations to remember their history and heritage."

Through her work, she aims to document people's stories and memories - preserving them for loved ones.
She said: "I film interviews in homes and special family occasions, weddings, birthday and anniversary parties and funerals where loved ones are gathered. To capture interviews and footage of all generations together in a natural and unobtrusive way."
Susan hopes Family Legacy Films will help families to reminisce about their relatives and preserve their stories for future generations.
She has also recently started to offer Pet Legacy Films too.
