Landmark Sunbeam Motor Car site in Wolverhampton transformed into luxury apartments for modern city living
Paragon Living has unveiled its landmark Sunbeam development which has transformed one of Wolverhampton’s most iconic industrial buildings into a state-of-the-art city living complex.
The development, which was officially opened on Thursday June 19, has breathed new life into the former Sunbeam Motor Car Company site on Paul Street, Wolverhampton.

The former factory site has been transformed into 186 high-specification apartments, with the project aiming to set a new benchmark for rental living in the region.
The original brickwork, period windows and vaulted interiors have been preserved and restored to keep alive the site’s heritage while the new apartments feature design-led interiors and premium finishes.

Robbie Hubball, CEO of Paragon Living which specialises in creating exclusive, tailored rental experiences that incorporate contemporary design and world-class amenities, said: “This isn’t just a residential development, it’s a piece of Wolverhampton’s legacy brought back to life.
“We’ve worked hard to ensure Sunbeam honours the city’s industrial heritage while providing quality spaces that raise the bar for what people expect in the local rental market. It’s something we’re incredibly proud of.”
Apartments range from stylish studios to spacious one, two and three-bedroom homes with integrated appliances, hotel-grade furnishings, and smart technology — including the UK’s first integration of Sky Glass TVs in every apartment, complete with high-speed internet and a premium Sky package.
