BBQ Kingdom, believed to be the only retail shop in the Midlands dedicated to barbecues and barbecue accessories, has opened its doors in Dudley.

The man behind the flames, Johhny Deol, is known for lighting up the skies with his fireworks business.
Now he's lighting up grills with his latest venture BBQ Kingdom and is setting his sights on dominating the BBQ market.
Businessman Mr Deol, who also runs Jack's Café & Bar in Wolverhampton, said: “I saw a real gap in the market. There are plenty of garden centres and DIY stores that sell barbecues as an afterthought, but nowhere in the Midlands offers the full BBQ experience under one roof. BBQ Kingdom changes that.”
Located in a prominent retail unit in Dudley, next door to Big Star Fireworks, BBQ Kingdom is a haven for grill enthusiasts.

The store in Wellington Road caters for all levels and budgets - from fair weather barbecue fans looking for a simple charcoal grill to seasoned masters seeking a high end gas set up or professional smoker.
Mr Deol said: “This isn’t just about selling barbecues. It’s about lifestyle, flavour, and community.
“We’ve brought together the best in charcoal, gas, and smoker technology and made it affordable. Everyone deserves to enjoy outdoor cooking, whether it's a small family get-together or a full summer cookout.”

BBQ Kingdom offers a wide variety of models from compact kettles perfect for patios to robust stainless steel gas BBQs with multiple burners, side tables and rotisserie options.
The shop also stocks a range of smokers - from beginner-friendly drum smokers to professional-grade offset smokers - plus a comprehensive range of accessories including grilling tools, rubs, sauces, wood chips and covers.

Mr Deol, who has been running his fireworks shops for 20 years, opened the store a few weeks ago in March and already it has been attracting attention from locals and barbecue fans across the region.
The entrepreneur said: "It's getting quite busy now we've had some nice hot weather. We have over 100 different items on sale - ranging from £10 to £1,000."
He also has plans to host live cooking demonstrations, BBQ masterclasses and seasonal promotions to make the shop a community hotspot; and with summer fast approaching, the timing couldn’t be better.“
Barbecue season is just around the corner, and we’re here to make sure it’s the best one yet," he said.
