£2m contract won by eg Solutions
Staffordshire back office software business eg solutions has won a £2.17 million contract with a leading global bank.
The company, based at Dunston, near Stafford,said the initial three-year contract is to deploy its eg work manager data capture product.
It expects £1.52m to come through in the current financial year.
Under the terms of the contract, the software will be deployed to more than 50 countries across four global regions before the end of 2017 and will span activities in capital markets, corporate banking, investment banking, trade, treasury and securities business units.
Chief executive of eg Solutions Elizabeth Gooch said: "I am delighted to announce this new US$2.7m contract win, which further demonstrates our ability to work for multinational blue chip companies across multiple territories and languages, as we continue to increase our UK and global presence as a leading supplier of back office workforce optimisation software.
"This is just the first stage in adopting improved operational management practices for this customer. eg work manager® data capture enables our customers to adopt a big data approach to measuring semi and unstructured interaction data to provide a greater understanding of the effectiveness of business processes. It will be used to support re-engineering and process simplification activities for our customer to improve operational efficiencies across its four global regions."

It is the third contract eg Solutions has signed this year including a master services agreement with a leading Business Process Outsourcer, yielding an immediate deployment of licences worth £762,000 to the UK's largest energy supplier, and a £692,000 contract to deploy its software within the public sector.
