Walsall-based construction company Bullock has secured £22 million in new business despite the tough economic climate.
The company, based in Aldridge, has seen an influx of new orders in the housing and healthcare sectors. Six new contracts have been secured, three of which will be in the Black Country.
Bosses today welcomed the new contracts and said it showed confidence in Bullock was high.
Among the new contracts is work on two new West Midlands-based projects with social housing Accord and Walsall Housing Group.
Richard Madeley, group business development manager at Bullock, said: "Construction is continually evolving to meet challenges such as tighter budgets and the need to deliver sustainable buildings; therefore clients are looking for partners who can provide complete solutions.
"The new contracts demonstrate Bullock's ability to build and maintain long-term professional partnerships and reflect the confidence that clients have in our capability to deliver high-quality developments and refurbishments."
Other housing sector successes for Bullock are a £1.3 million refurbishment and build contract with Bromsgrove District Housing Trust.
Another is a £1.3 million contract with Bradford Community Housing Trust to revitalise a residential area by converting 61 flats into 16 houses.
