A dramatic fall in business has forced a fresh wave of cuts by the German-owned company which supplies the car industry.
The losses come just a fortnight after it announced 85 redundancies at the Cannock plant.
Those going as part of the new round of redundancies are likely to leave at the end of February, with around 500 workers remaining. The initial 85 posts will go by December 19.
The announcement came as it was revealed that the West Midlands was the worst hit in the effect of the recession on manufacturing.
And it was also revealed today that Staffordshire-based dairy Dairy Farmers of Britain is closing, with the loss of 246 jobs.
It brings the total number to lose their jobs at the Cannock firm over recent months to 380.
Dairy Farmers of Britain is closing its operation at Fole, near Uttoxeter, in March. It is also shedding 15 jobs at its head office at Nantwich in Cheshire and another 380 jobs are going from its 2,200 Uk workforce.
