A motoring company which has traded in the region for more than 70 years has closed a car showrooms in Kidderminster.

A motoring company which has traded in the region for more than 70 years has closed a car showrooms in Kidderminster.
Brooklyn Mazda, in Worcester Road, closed down last week.
There were 17 staff at the dealership. Most have been transfered to other garages but two workers have been made redundant.
Brooklyn Motors was formed in 1935 by Mr WT Hill operating from a wooden garage near Inkberrow. The company is still a major dealer for Citreon, Ford, Mazda, Skoda and Toyota. It is currently employs around 600 people .
Brooklyn Mazda opened in Kidderminster in 2003. Brooklyn Ford, which is next door, is still open as usual.
