From its manufacturing base in Kidderminster – still seen as the heart of the UK carpet industry – the company produces an extensive range of award-winning carpets by combining a blend of skilled manpower with the latest in equipment and techniques.

The result is a range of carpets that come in more than 140 different colour choices across plain, heather and berber flecked styles for both home and business use.

The company currently employs 110 people and more than half have been with the firm for more than five years. Turnover currently stands at £17 million a year.

Since 2005, the company has been headed up by managing director, Charles Annable, who took over from his father Roy, who served as chairman and managing director from the foundation of the firm in 1964.

Charles Annable's vision has helped the firm move from the production of traditional Axminster carpets to cutting-edge contemporary floor coverings – at least four of which feature in John Lewis' top 10 favourites, including the retail chain's best selling range, New Forest.

"We want to be recognised as the UK's premier manufacturer of high quality wool-rich carpet for the domestic market," said Mr Annable. "Our highly skilled local workforce gives us a huge advantage over our overseas competitors.
