Action bid on investment potential
Action is planned to promote areas of Kidderminster to potential investors to help boost jobs, tourism and trade opportunities around the town.

Information about the area is available from a variety of sources but councillors believe that many people are not aware of all the opportunities available.
Now a glossy brochure is being drawn up listing any areas for potential development for shops, offices and industry.
It will help to promote both council and privately run sites to be marketed more efficiently on the regional, national and even international stage.
In the past, Bewdley, Stourport and the rural west of the Wyre Forest district have benefited from regional support through the Market Towns Initiative and Rural Regeneration Zone but Kidderminster has not received the same support.
Wyre Forest District councillors now hope their vision for the future and plans to promote the town as a high-quality business, commercial, retail and visitor destination, will help draw investment.
If agreed, the brochure is expected to be compiled and published by November next year.
