Jobs hope over Metsec plan
More than 50 new jobs will be created if a Black Country engineering company is allowed to extend its works.

Oldbury-based Metsec Engineering Products is seeking permission for a major development alongside its existing sites in Broadwell Road.
Sandwell Council's planning officer Tony Rice said the bid was for an extension to its works, a new office block and some storage and distribution units.
Mr Rice said the extensions could create around 53 new jobs.
The plans have been publicised in the area and there have been no objections from other firms or residents.
The firm, one of the biggest names in Midlands industry, has bought a large industrial unit next to its works which was previously used as a warehouse and bosses now want to build the new factories and units on the land.
The firm is also planning a new three-storey block of offices at the rear of the site.
The bid is to be considered by Sandwell' s planning committee next week when Mr Rice will recommend its approval. Mr Rice said:"In my opinion, I consider the proposed application to be acceptable. It would bring an existing vacant unit back into use as well as creating up to 53 new jobs."
