The announcement was made at its bi-annual Developing Staffs event.
Work will begin on more than 28,000 sq ft of office space this month, with industrial premises - ranging from small workshops to massive warehouse and distribution facilities - reaching well over 2.6 million sq ft.InStaffs chief executive John de Kanter said: "Once all of these new developments are complete and occupied, we could see nearly 3,000 new jobs.
"This includes 140 in offices and more than 2,900 in industry and warehousing.
"Lichfield has been fortunate that it has enjoyed high levels of exciting new developments taking place over the last two years and it appears the next 12 months will be equally fruitful."
Lingfield Securities is building two office units at Lichfield South.
But warehousing and distribution continues to dominate the landscape - with Fradley Park already scheduled for 192,000 sq ft and 435,000 sq ft units, as well as gaining planning permission for a 945,000 sq ft premises.
