Banker Ian's award hat trick

Black Country banker Ian Tetsill has scooped one of the most prestigious awards in the midlands corporate finance industry for the third year running.Mr Tetsill, from Kingswinford, who works for Barclays, picked up the "Banker of the Year" award at the recent Insider Midlands Dealmaker Awards ceremony.

Mr Tetsill, from Kingswinford, who works for Barclays, picked up the "Banker of the Year" award at the recent Insider Midlands Dealmaker Awards ceremony.

Also a previous winner of the "Young Dealmaker Award", Mr Tetsill, still only 36, swept all before him as he ran out a clear winner in the category.

His recent successes include his involvement in the buy-out's of Hydrex Equipment and Paragon Print and Packaging, as well as the strategic investment into Metal & Waste Recycling.

He said: "I am delighted to have won this award for the third year running.

"Barclays Leveraged Finance has enjoyed another active year which has resulted in further increases in our resources and this award is great recognition for both Barclays and the team as a whole."
