Three young girls charged after teenager stabbed in West Midlands town

Three young girls have been charged after a teenager was stabbed in a West Midlands town.

The charges were authorised by the Crown Prosecution Service after a teenager being stabbed in Whittington, Worcester on September 21 last year. 

A 14-year-old girl and a 12-year-old girl for being in possession of a knife/sharp pointed article in a public place and wounding with intent. 

A court date for the two girls is yet to be set, West Mercia Police said. 

However, another girl, 13, is set to appear before Worcester Youth Court on April 8 after being charged with assault in relation to the same incident.
