Wednesbury industrial building turned café to become 'real asset to the local community' after acquisition

A former industrial building turned café in Wednesbury is to be given a new lease of life after being acquired by a local entrepreneur.

Specialist business property adviser Christie & Co has announced the sale of the lease for The Substation on Walsall Street.

The 4,500 sq ft venue is to be turned into a new cafe and events space, with refurbishment plans already underway.

Comprising a fully fitted bar, commercial kitchen, expansive open-plan floor space, and an outdoor courtyard, the venue occupies a prominent roadside position and on-site parking for 30 vehicles.

Christie & Co has confirmed the lease has been acquired by local entrepreneur Faysol Wahab, who plans to transform the property into a vibrant café and events destination.
