The licensees of a Walsall town centre pub have applied to construct an outside bar in the garden area.

The Red Lion, in Park Street which dates back to Victtorian times, was recently visited by a licensing officer for an inspection and he recommended they go ahead with the application, which was made by parent company Admiral Taverns.
The application, would see a member of staff supervising the bar at all times and when not being used it would be locked to prevent unauthorised access, with spirits removed.
Representations on the application which can be viewed online should be made at the Civic Centre, Walsall on or before March 23,
