'It's been in private hands for a long time': Rare portrait of Christina Rossetti set to wow visitors in new exhibition at beloved local National Trust site
A never-before seen photo of Christina Rossetti will be on display at Wightwick Manor.
"It's a portrait of Christina Rossetti. It's been in private hands for a long time," Hannah Squire who is a co-curator of the exhibition shared when detailing the surprising element Wightwick Manor visitors will be able to see at the weekend.
The exhibition was curated by Hannah Squire and Helen Bratt-Wyton curated the exhibition with this in mind.
The never-before seen portrait is an unseen work of Gabriel Rossetti's portrait of his sister.
The exhibition has been described by staff at Wightwick Manor to be a full house takeover, as eight rooms will display the Rossetti artworks.
