Tram delays between Wolverhampton and Birmingham due to 'medical emergency'

Tram passengers across Birmingham and Wolverhampton are facing disruption on Wednesday morning (March, 3) as services on the West Midlands Metro are affected by delays.

On a post on X, West Midlands Metro shared that is due to a 'medical emergency'  which had taken place near Grand Central/Corporation Street in Birmingham.

West Midlands Metro have said trams are operating between Wolverhampton Station and Edgbaston Village are still experiencing delays as commuters travel this morning.

Trams are operating between Bull Street and Wolverhampton Station only. 

If you are travelling between these two major West Midlands cities than it's important to check the information on the West Midlands Metro website for updates. 

At the moment, there is currently no service between Bull Street and Edgbaston Village. 

Wolverhampton St Georges is currently not in use for travel. 

Wolverhampton St George’s Tram Stop is located on Bilston Street (Opposite Police Station) at WV1 3AH.
