Man arrested after multiple Brierley Hill store thefts
A man has been arrested after nearly £300 worth of items were stolen from stores in Dudley borough.
Police launched an investigation after hundreds of pounds worth of toiletries were stolen from a supermarket on Pearson Street, Brierley Hill on January 1, shortly before 1pm.
A few weeks later another report was received where a man had stolen cleaning items and a shop worker verbally abused at a store in The Moor Centre, Brierley Hill, on February 17.
Following a report related to a separate incident, officers arrested a man in connection with the thefts yesterday (Tuesday, March 3).
A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of two counts of shop theft, a public order offence, and non-fatal strangulation.
He remains in custody as police enquiries continue.
