Sandwell Council posted on X that a large number of mourners are expected for the service and temporary traffic restrictions in the area will be in place with some delays expected.

The post said: "We would urge motorists to avoid the area if possible and find alternative routes between 10am and 1.30pm.

"The mosque committee, police and council are working closely with the family to plan a safe and dignified funeral, while also seeking to minimise disruption for residents, businesses and road users wherever possible.

"Our thoughts and condolences are with the family, friends and wider community at this very sad time."

Two more teenagers were charged with murder yesterday (Saturday) over the fatal stabbing and will appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court tomorrow (Monday).

A 17-year-old boy charged with murder appeared at court earlier this week and has been remanded in custody until his next court appearance.

A gofundme appeal set up in Zeeshan's name by the family has now raised over £10,000. All of the funds will be used to support Islamic charity efforts in the UK and abroad.
