Four crews respond to fire at Wolverhampton chippy - with warning issued to public
The public have been warned to 'avoid the area' near a fire in Wolverhampton as the fire service work to tackle blaze.
West Midlands Fire Service currently have four crews tackling a blaze at The Wolves chippy on New Hampton Road West, Wolverhampton.
In a statement, which was posted on X, emergency responders have warned locals to avoid the area.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Fire Service said: "We have Four crews in attendance at New Hampton Road West, Wolverhampton, where they have responded to a Fire.
"Please avoid the area, where possible."
The fire service has been contacted for further comment.
