Co-op Travel to celebrate opening of new Lichfield branch with ribbon-cutting event, cupcakes and giveaways
Co-op Travel is set to celebrate the opening of its new Lichfield branch with a special event following a change of address.
The branch is now located a few doors down from its previous address in Baker's Lane and has been fitted with new digital screens to show the latest travel offers and package holidays available, including tailor-made trips to a variety of locations with Co-op Holidays, to help improve on the customer experience.
Lizzie Sheppard, branch manager at Co-op Travel Lichfield, said: “Our newly designed branch has quickly become a talking point in the city, with both new and returning customers noting its connection to Lichfield’s roots in the cooperative movement.
“As a team with a combined 80 years of experience, we’re proud to see that tradition continue to evolve in our new home and we look forward to helping locals make more travel memories this year across a variety of locations.”
An official ribbon cutting will take place at the new branch at 11.30am on Wednesday February 25.
Locals will be able to enjoy refreshments and cupcakes and have chance to win prizes through a Lucky Dip giveaway, with Co-op Holidays vouchers worth up to £150 up for grabs plus four Lichfield Garrick Theatre tickets to see a performance of Disenchanted in April.

The new Co-op Travel Lichfield is located 31 Baker's Lane, Lichfield, near other OurCoop businesses including Little Pioneers Nursery, FuneralcareCoop, FoodCoop, and Little Pioneers Nursery based in nearby Walsall.
It will be open six days a week from Monday to Saturday at 9.30am to 5pm.
