Buses diverted following Wolverhampton crash

Buses have been diverted following a crash in Wolverhampton.

National Express West Midlands have warned of diversions to regular services following a collision on Coalway Road, Wolverhampton.

The incident was first reported by the bus operator at 11.58am, with the group warning that service 2 will not be diverted.

The bus will now instead follow Oxbarn Road, Trysull Road, Birches Barn Road and Lea Road. 

A National Express West Midlands spokesperson said: "Collision on Coalway Road, Wolverhampton. 

The collision has caused busses to be diverted from the area

"Service 2 will be diverting in both directions via: Oxbarn Road, Trysull Road, Birches Barn Road, Lea Road.

"Apologies for any disruption to your journey."

It is unknown yet as to the severity of the collision; however, emergency services have been approached for further information.
