Watch: Work to investigate Wolverhampton sinkhole underway after road closure
Work to investigate a 'sinkhole' that has appeared on a road in Wolverhampton is underway.
The 'sinkhole' was spotted near Clarkes in Wolverhampton at the junction between Vicarage Road and All Saints Road today (February 11).
Work is now underway to investigate the cause. Footage shows council staff at the scene.
Reporter Daniel Walton and Express and Star photographer Tim Thursfield visited the scene where workmen have closed off a section of the road.
Visualising it, Walton estimated it was around 3-foot deep and around 3-foot wide.
