The 'sinkhole' has been spotted near Clarkes in Wolverhampton at the junction between Vicarage Road and All Saints Road.

It is believed to have been caused by a burst water pipe. Severn Trent Water have been contacted for a comment.

Surinder Kaur, of All Saints Road, said: "It looks pretty bad. I only noticed it this morning.

"It looks around three-foot-wide and three-foot-deep. Like, if you fell down that, you could end up getting really hurt.

"It's lucky that no one has driven their car into. Let's hope that it gets fixed soon."
