Senior promotions set to push fast-growing digital agency past the £1 million barrier in 2026
A fast-growing West Midlands digital agency has made two senior appointments as it plans to break the £1 million revenue barrier for the first time in its five-year history.
Pull the Pin (PTP), which was founded by marketing expert Sam Hufton in 2021, has promoted Prenam Gill and Jack Boulter to its leadership team, recognising the two industry professionals for their commitment to the business and their outstanding performance.
The head of client servicing and head of growth and digital strategy respectively will be charged with ensuring the Birmingham-based agency increases fees from £950,000 in 2025 to £1.4 million by the end of this year.

They will also be responsible for rolling-out the agency’s expansive AI offering and ensuring clients benefit fully from its integrated marketing and sales functions.
Sam, who has been involved in the marketing world since 2007, said: “We’ve had a really strong last 12 months, with turnover nearly hitting £1 million – a 45 per cent increase on monthly retainers from this time last year.
“In response to the economic pressures and recent budget updates, we recognised that clients urgently needed to maximise the return on every pound they spend, and this is how we approach every account. Proving effective ‘ROI’ is key for retention and winning a host of new contracts.”
He continued: “There is a big opportunity this year and we knew we had to strengthen our senior leadership team to execute this push. Prenam and Jack have so much experience and expertise and live and breathe the PTP culture - it was an easy decision to make to promote them so they can drive our expansion.”
Prenam was the first employee to join Sam in March 2021, joining at a pivotal moment in the agency’s early development. Initially appointed as head of SEO, she quickly established herself as a strategic force within the business and soon transitioned into the role of head of client services.
Boasting over a decade of experience across strategy, SEO and client servicing, her career has seen her work for boutique agencies and global networks, including McCann Worldgroup, partnering with major brands such as Wiltshire Farm Foods and DHL.
As head of client services, she leads strategic direction and builds long-term client partnerships with brands like Ingeus, Hogarth’s and Frederick Cooper, translating commercial objectives into measurable, high-impact strategies.
Prenam said: “For 2025/26, the critical trend is an increased appetite to bring sales and marketing teams together through robust data hygiene. Traceability and ROI are now non-negotiable; clients must be able to trace the return on every effort, which is impossible
without clean data.
“While the market is distracted by AI hype, our strategic push is to help clients get their house in order first. You simply cannot deliver impactful AI with poor-quality data.”
Jack, who has delivered major campaigns for global brands including Dyson, Toolstation, Hager and The Body Shop, said: “I joined Pull the Pin at a pivotal moment in 2023, as the agency began evolving into a more structured, strategically led business. With 10 years’ experience delivering performance-led digital strategies for both global brands and specialist, niche service providers, I’ve spent my career building ground-up strategies that drive measurable results.
“As part of the senior leadership team, my role is to help set the strategic direction of PTP, lead client strategy, and ensure we continue to deliver work of a consistently high standard as the agency grows.”
He added: “I’ll also be working closely with the wider team to strengthen our capability across SEO, paid media and integrated digital strategy - keeping everything aligned under a clear, joined-up approach that delivers real commercial impact for our clients.”
Two recent wins for Pull the Pin have been SEO activity for Jewellery Quarter BID and full-service digital marketing for Feraru Dynamics, an ambitious young business that has rolled out a revolutionary system to defend against Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS) in manufacturing, construction and landscaping.
PTP has implemented a multi-channel strategy to boost visibility, drive website traffic, and engage key audiences, successfully securing five-figure deals in just a few months.
The agency, which has been working with England Golf on its award-winning iGolf initiative since 2021, has also been appointed to undertake SEO and paid social work for the national governing body’s Get into Golf campaign.
