High-visibility reassurance patrols were carried out at key locations across Wolverhampton city centre, with officers speaking and listening to the public and taking action where concerns were identified.

City centre officers enlisted the help of PC Veltman and police dog Stan who supported the operation throughout the evening and is coming close to retirement

Eight people were stopped and searched, with one person found to be in possession of cannabis and was given a referral to a drugs support service.

The operation also provided members of the public the chance to speak with officers and find out more about local policing.
