Half an hour delays and heavy disruption as lorry collides with car in Cannock leaving one woman with 'potentially serious injuries'
One of four lanes of the M6 in Cannock has closed in both directions after a lorry collided with a car that left a woman with potentially serious injuries.
National Highways West Midlands have warned of 30-minute delays following a crash on the M6 in Cannock between Junction 13 (Dunston) and Junction 12 (Cannock).
The motorway authority said that the crash involved a lorry and a car, with all emergency services being present on the scene.

A National Highways West Midlands spokesperson said: "One of four lanes closed in both directions on the M6 between J13 (Dunston) and J12 (Cannock) following a collision involving a lorry and a car.
"All emergency services on the scene. 30-minute delays on approach."
West Midlands Ambulance Service have confirmed that one ambulance and a paramedic officer attended the scene, where they found one patient, a woman, who had sustained potentially serious injuries.
She was treated at the scene before being taken to the hospital.
An ambulance spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of a collision between a lorry and a car on the southbound M6, between Junctions 13 and 12, at 1.14pm.
"One ambulance and a paramedic officer attended the scene. We treated a patient, a woman, for potentially serious injuries, before she was taken to Royal Stoke University Hospital."
Police have been approached for more information.
