Two men arrested following Birmingham assault and robbery
West Midlands Police have made two arrests after a man was assaulted and robbed in Birmingham.
Response officers with West Midlands Police were called to Broad Street, Birmingham, at around 5am today after a man was reported to have been assaulted by two other men.
During the attack, the the man's iPhone and watch were stolen, with the victim being taken to the hospital with facial injuries.

Officers later arrested two men, aged 20 and 19, on suspicion of assault and robbery. Both remain in custody while police investigations continue, with an iPhone and a watch being recovered.
The force launched an appeal for information, asking anyone with information to get in touch with them via their 101 number, or on the Live Chat service on their website, quoting reference number 20/122282/26.
A force spokesperson: "Anyone with any information should ring us on 101, quoting crime reference number 20/122282/26. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
"Reducing robbery offences is one of our force priorities, and we are running Operation Ruby to tackle those committing crime, while working to spread crime prevention messaging across the region so people can take all reasonable steps possible to help keep themselves and their belongings safe."
