Man charged with multiple offences in Sandwell and Birmingham during week long crime spree
West Midlands Police have charged a man with committing a number of offences across both Birmingham and Sandwell.
Anthony Mullen, aged 45, from Birmingham, has been charged with 16 offences, including aggravated burglary, fraud, theft of a motor vehicle, burglary and possession of an imitation firearm.
It comes after a series of incidents in Sandwell and Birmingham that have been reported since last Monday, where addresses and businesses were broken into.

The crime spree concluded with a robbery at a bank on Bearwood Road, Smethwick, on Tuesday, where an iPad was stolen, and staff members were threatened.
Mullen was remanded into custody to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court.
A force spokesperson said: "Anthony Mullen, aged 45 from Birmingham, has been charged with 16 offences including aggravated burglary, fraud, robbery, theft of a motor vehicle, burglary and possession of an imitation firearm.
"This comes after a series of incidents in Sandwell and Birmingham since last Monday (12 Jan), where addresses and businesses have been broken into.
"He was remanded in custody to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court today."
