M6 at Wednesbury and Walsall cleared following major traffic disruption due to crash between car and lorry that left one with 'minor injuries'
A multi vehicle collision on the M6 at J10A and J10 (Walsall / Wolverhampton) is caused traffic delays this morning (Thursday) - lanes are now open
National Highways West Midlands has updated drivers that lanes are now open on the M6 following a multi vehicle collision between J10A and J10 (Walsall / Wolverhampton).
Two lanes were closed southbound at around 5.30am while police attended the scene to help remove the traffic management.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said that one ambulance was sent to the scene at around 4.55am this morning, where on arrival, they discovered the crash between a car and a lorry.
One patient, a woman, was treated by ambulance staff for minor injuries and conveyed to Walsall Manor Hospital.
An ambulance service spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of an RTC on the M6 Northbound at junction 9 near Wednesbury at 4.55am.
"An ambulance was sent to the scene where, on arrival, crews found a car and a lorry had been involved in a collision.
"A woman was treated by ambulance staff for minor injuries and conveyed to Walsall Manor Hospital."
West Midlands Police have been approached for more information.
