Man and woman sought by police after hundreds of pounds worth of clothes stolen in Merry Hill shop robbery

A police investigation has been launched into a robbery at a Merry Hill shop in which hundreds of pounds worth of clothing and accessories were stolen

West Midlands Police has launched an investigation after more than £700 worth of clothing and accessories were stolen from a store in Merry Hill.

The incident happened before Chrismtas on December 7, between 1pm and 1.20pm.

A store manager who attempted to stop the theft was also verbally threatened and pushed out of the way.

Following initial enquiries police have been unable to identify a man and woman who officers would like to speak with in connection with the incident.

A spokesperson for WMP said: “We would ask anyone who recognises the people in the images or has any information that could help our officers to get in touch.
