Wolverhampton man, 76, appears at crown court charged with 2008 murder of Tipton taxi driver

A Wolverhampton man has appeared in court accused of shooting a Tipton taxi driver dead in 2008.

David Harrison, aged 76, appeared for the first time at Wolverhampton Crown Court this morning (Thursday) for a case progression hearing. He is charged with the fatal shooting of 39-year-old taxi driver Harun Khan almost 18 years ago.

The father of four died from his injuries after he was fired on outside his home in Tudor Street, Tipton, at about 9.25pm on March 3, 2008.
