Residents near Sunbeam Street, Wolverhampton, have spoken of their fear and shock as firefighters continue to battle a major blaze at a factory unit on the road. 

It comes after West Midlands Fire Service were called to a 'significant' blaze in a factory unit on Sunbeam Street, near its junction with Upper Villiers Street, at around 7.30am this morning.

At its height, more than 21 fire service vehicles were reported to be taking part in a major operation to tackle the blaze, with three hydraulic platforms and scores of firefighters working to douse the flames.
