Tributes paid to South Staffordshire councillor dubbed 'Mr Kinver' - who lived in and served village for decades
Tributes have been paid to former Kinver Parish Council chairman Henry Williams, who has died at the age of 85.
His daughter Charlotte announced that he had died suddenly last Wednesday, January 7.
Born in Wales, Henry was well known in Kinver and was a member of the Conservative Party, who he represented for over 10 years on the parish council and as a South Staffordshire district councillor.
He was also county chairman of the Royal British Legion Staffordshire for over ten years and for nearly 30 years ran the popular Kinfayre Restaurant in the village.

Henry and his wife Ann were also regulars at Kinver Constitutional Club up until his death.
