Birmingham man, 39, remanded in custody over firearm and assault charges
A 39-year-old man has been remanded in custody after appearing in court charged with a series of offences including possession of a firearm and assault.
Daniel Connolley, of The Coppice, Northfield, Birmingham, appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court on Friday (January 9), where he faced four charges relating to incidents alleged to have taken place in 2025.
He is charged with possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence in connection with an incident in August 2025, assault causing actual bodily harm relating to an incident in December 2025, and common assault relating to a separate incident in August 2025. He is also charged with engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour.
Connolley was remanded in custody and is next due to appear in court on February 9.
