Fire service called to car blaze in Bridgnorth

The fire service responded to a late-night car fire in Bridgnorth.

The incident in Hook Farm Road saw a fire crew called out just before midnight on Saturday (December 27), Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said.

A spokesperson for the fire service said the blaze involved a "small saloon car".

The fire crew extinguished the fire with a hose reel jet, the spokesperson added.
