"Working in unison with neighbourhood teams, the Skybridge team have been able to listen to community concerns and work together to help drive down crime in their each individual area."

During the patrols, the team spotted a car being driven erratically on Green Lanes around 7.30pm.

We stopped the car and arrested a man on suspicion of drink driving.

Stephen Packer has now been charged with drink driving. The 56-year-old from Erdington will be appearing before Birmingham Magistrates Court next month.

Op Skybridge officers continue to carry out proactive enforcement across Birmingham, where they target offenders and disrupt crime.

Deploying to different areas of the city, they have already secured some significant results.
