Willenhall shooting: Two arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after man 'gunned down' in Willenhall hours before Christmas Eve
Two men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after another man was found with gunshot injuries in Willenhall.
West Midlands Police have announced the arrest of two men on suspicion of attempted murder, aged 50 and 27, in relation to a shooting in Wordsworth Road, Willenhall, only hours before Christmas Eve.
Emergency services were called to the scene following reports of the shooting at 7.30pm.

On arrival, medical teams discovered a man in his 20s, who had sustained 'potentially life-threatening' injuries.
Following 'quick-time' enquiries by West Midlands Police investigators, two men were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, with both remaining in custody as the investigation continues.
A force spokesperson said: "Two men have been arrested after a man was found in Wordsworth Road, Willenhall, with a suspected gunshot wound last night (Tues).

"We were alerted by ambulance colleagues at around 7.30pm and attended the scene where the man in his 20s was being treated by paramedics.
"He was later taken to the hospital with injuries which are believed to be life-threatening.
"Following quick-time enquiries, two men aged 50 and 27 were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. They remain in custody today as investigations continue."
West Midlands Police have remained at the scene overnight, with officers now carrying out door-to-door enquiries to establish exactly what happened.

The spokesperson added: "We're carrying out door-to-door enquiries alongside retrieving and reviewing CCTV footage from the area as we work to establish exactly what has happened.
"We know that an incident like this causes concern, and we have stepped up patrols to offer reassurance to local people."
