New finance chief is key to delivering 'lasting value' - water company says of new appointment
South Staffs Water, which supplies drinking water to areas including the West Midlands and South Staffordshire, has announced the appointment of Dominique Mowle as its new finance director.
Dominique brings expertise in financial strategy, performance management and business transformation across both regulated finance and the water industry. She joins from Severn Trent, where she most recently served as group head of FP&A.
Her previous career includes senior finance positions at Groupe PSA, Home Retail Group, and Barclays.
In her new role, Dominique will lead South Staffs Water’s financial operations, ensuring they support the company’s strategic priorities and regulatory commitments. Her leadership will help the business navigates its largest-ever investment programme, aimed at delivering long-term value for customers and stakeholders with efficiency and impact.

Dominique, who will take up post on January 2 2026, said: “The water sector is set for an exciting period of growth, and South Staffs Water has an ambitious and forward-looking plan for the next five years. I’m excited to join the team and contribute to the company’s strategic goals, financial resilience and commitment to delivering outstanding service to the communities it serves.”
South Staffs Water supplies drinking water to approximately 1.3 million people across the West Midlands, South Staffordshire, South Derbyshire, North Warwickshire and North Worcestershire.
